This month Adobe came to demonstrate Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Photoexpress
The first presentation was by Lindsay Brown, in charge of "Knowledge Worker Solutions".
Lindsay demonstrated some of the new features in Adobe Acrobat, now up to version 9.0.

Lindsay showed us Acrobat.com. It’s in beta and free to join. Lindsay demonstrated how to use Acrobat 9 Pro and acrobat.com to create an online photo gallery.
 First bring in the photos and movies you need.

Then pick a style for the album.

and once created you can then share your photos on line using acrobat ,com

Using Acrobat.com you can

  1. store up to 5 gigabytes of files in your online organizer, accessible from anywhere with a web browser.
  2. Share large files with others, without sending the files by e-mail and
    Limit access to people only you invite,
  3. Or make your documents accessible to everyone by embedding a link on a web page or blog.
  4. Convert 5 documents to PDF.
  5. Create documents with Adobe Buzzword®, an online word processor.
  6. Hold web meetings with Adobe ConnectNow web conferencing software

Linsay then continued on to tell us about the new forms features in Acrobat 9.

Using the Electronic Forms and Data Collection. Acrobat will then collect from the form the responses needed to complete the document.

All this is done and kept in a Form Response File for easy editing

The second presentation was by Michael Stoddard, Senior Sales Manager, who spoke about
Photoshop Express, Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0, and Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0.

Micheal started the discussion with a comparisoin of the three Photoshop Products.

One of the unique features of Elements is its ability to group photos by like image. It can also show all the faces in your collection.
