Last Friday we expected Terry Eakin to arrive with his new machine, this did not eventuate. I have received an e-mail from Terry telling me he only came out of RNSH yesterday (19 November) after being hospitalised for 8 days. Terry will spend the next two weeks at his sisters place. I am sure you will all join me in wishing Terry all the best and that we hope to see him back soon.

That lump of cellulose not only stops the camera rattling around in the box, but has encoded within it some marvellous information. What is in the typical manual? Bring yours along and we'll find out how to decode this information.
Tip of the Week
Hugin - is a panorama photo stitching program which is accomplished by using several overlapping photos taken from the same location, and using control points to align and transform the photos so that they can be blended together to form a larger image. Allows for the easy creation of control points between two images, optimisation of the image transforms along with a preview window so the user can see whether the panorama is acceptable. Once the preview is correct, the panorama can be fully stitched, transformed and saved in a standard image format. Tutorials   Examples

So until next week, health and happiness,
