The Committee & Members
would like to welcome
new members and
subscribers who joined
during the month of May.

Hello and Welcome,
During the month of June the following SIGs will not take place:
Stocks & Shares - Monday 14 June - Queens Birthday Holiday
SmartPhone - Friday 16 June - John Shiel unable to attend
Saturday 1 May - Penrith - Frank Bowman - 2 pm - 5 pm
St Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue, St Clair
As well as our usual Q and A session around the table, where we share problems, advice and tips, we will see if we can install a DOS BOX in Vista or Windows 7, test a screen capture program, use Word as a basic database and examine an article on the topic of the world wide web running out of IP addresses.
At our last meeting we examined some of the differences between 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Vista and Windows 7, noted that Microsoft support fpr XP SP2 runs out in June, 2010, but support for XP SP3 will continue until 2014. We made an image of a Windows 7 C drive and noted in a Choice Computer magazine, where there was an article on a panel of tests on our most popular browsers, that Google Chrome topped the list.
So until next week, health and happiness,

Please remember if your e-mail address is changed for any reason at all, unless you tell me your new address you will not receive these weekly updates! Any change of address should be notified to
