WEEKLY SIG MEETING UPDATE 4 - 9 April 2011
School of Arts
280 Pitt Street, Sydney
Sydney PCUG's Blog
11 - 16 April 2011
Hello and Welcome,
There are two meetings next week.
The first is an experiment in member participation and in the second John Lucke will unravel some of the mysteries of cookies. Both meetings are sure to be interesting and rewarding.
Friday 8 April - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
It was suggested at the last meeting that some members might give a short demonstration of one of their favourite applications, gadgets, news sources, browsers or widgets at this meeting.
This will be a very interesting exercise. However, it does require a small number of members to rise to the occasion and bring what they need for their demonstration to the meeting.
Do you have something you could share with the group and make this meeting a success?
Friday 8 April - Communications - J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
The meeting will commence with a general discussion about communications and a question and answer session.
A presentation about internet cookies will follow.
What are cookies? Are they dangerous? Should they be saved or removed? Hopefully by the end of the presentation we will have the answers to these questions and lots more.
Please remember if your e-mail address is changed for any reason at all, unless you tell me your new address you will not receive these weekly updates! Any change of address should be notified to email@example.com
