Hello and Welcome,
Next week we have a meeting of the Penrith Group.
Here are the details:
Saturday 7 May - Penrith Group  -  F. Bowman - 2:00pm - 5:00pm
The group has a few items to discuss from last month's list and they will complete these before holding the usual question and answer session around the table.
This month's topics for discussion are:
 - removing red eyes from photos;
 - downloading mp3s and videos from YouTube; and
 - using Paragon Disk Manager to image C: drive in Vista and Windows 7.
The group will also review some articles from recent computer magazines.
Last month they came across several interesting articles in a recent issue of the Choice Computer magazine which revealed that:
 - the true cost of ink for inkjet printers can be almost $2000 a litre;
 - the Samsung's Galaxy Tab tablet, although not cheap, seems to be a lively competitor for Apple's iPad; and
 - the tests carried out by Choice Computer on security suites found Symantec, Kaspersky and AVG ranking at the top of the list.
The group meets at St Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue, St Clair.
You are welcome to come and join them.
