Hello and Welcome,
Many people now want to use the Internet wherever they are located and the hardware and communication equipment is now available for this purpose.
With this in mind John Lucke will use two meetings next Friday to consider the  equipment currently available and demystify the jargon used by suppliers.
Friday 8 June - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
At this first meeting John will discuss the changing wireless technology being used by people to gain access the Internet. He will explore the availability, performance, and pricing of Wi-Fi and 4G mobile telephone networks and everything in between these two.
Friday 8 June - Communications -  J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
At this second meeting John will discuss the hardware that people might prefer to use to access the rich variety of information and data available on the Internet while they are away from their homes and offices.
He will look at the modem/routers, sim cards, dongles, private hot spot devices and the mobile phones used to connect to wireless local and wide area networks.
The usual popular question and answer sessions will be available in the morning and afternoon.
These are meeting that many members will not want to miss.
John Mathews
