Is it possible that there is malware in your kettle?

Hello and Welcome,
There are two very interesting meeting next week.
Tuesday 12 November - Programming - N. Hoffman - 5:30pm - 8:30pm
The new hardware and software available for use with the Raspberry Pi credit card sized computer was discussed at the October meeting and the web site was used to locate other groups interested in the Pi.
The open source package OpenWRT which, had been demonstrated earlier this year on a small router device, was also discussed as it can be used with the Raspberry Pi. A free computer vision package called OpenCV that works with the Pi was also mentioned.

A new form of computer memory, the resistive RAM or RRAM was also discussed and the details can be seen here. This kind of memory will be faster, lower powered and cost less than flash memory and should give rise to new forms of portable products, as a Terabyte of RRAM can be made the size of a postage stamp.
Members of the group will demonstrate some new microprocessor applications and programming examples at Tuesday's meeting.  -  Neville Hoffman
Saturday 16 November - Web Design - S South - 1:30pm - 4:30pm
This month we round out our look at Responsive Design with a look at Fluid Layouts. Fluid or liquid layouts are the backbone of Responsive Design as they create the flexibility to deliver a site’s content to any screen size.

We will also have a detailed look at some video tutorials on layout and look at a few articles and books, which discuss the various design approaches.

As this may be our last meeting for the year we will also discuss the agenda for next year. -  Steve South
