Hello and Welcome,
Details of next week's meetings are below.
Tuesday 19 November - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
At this meeting the group will look at the cards that are used in computers to store, communicate and display information in a wide range of formats and capacities.
The question and answer sessions held at these meetings are greatly valued by members and one will be held on the day to discuss computer problems and topical issues.

At this meeting Terry Eakin will explore an update of the "NSW Immigration Deposits Combined Index 1853-1900" CD from Pastkeys. This revised version of the CD contains more information as well as a few more people.
Terry will also discuss how Google's search engine can be used to find family history information on the Internet.
There will also be a question and answer session at which members can explore any issues or problems relating to their family history research.

The processing of raw image format photographs will be the main topic of this meeting.

Please note that this meeting will be held in the Boardroom on the 3rd floor of the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts Building.
