Hello and Welcome,

The Penrith SIG discuss an interesting range of things at their monthly meetings. This month is no exception. Just look at the details below:

Saturday 4 February - Penrith Group  -  F. Bowman - 2:00pm - 5:00pm
At their last meeting the group looked at some articles that discussed the installation of powerline adapters, used an online site to create an effective column graph, Paint to create a simple icon and Irfanview to effectively remove red eyes from 3 subjects.

This month's meeting will start with a question and answer session at which  problems, advice and tips on anything connected with computers are shared.

They will then:
 - get their hands dirty with some HTML code and try to create a web page or two;
- use Easeus Partition Manager to see if they can change the partitioning on a hard disk;
- look at an entry level eBook reader and see what free books are available on the web; and
- look at an entry level 7 inch tablet and check how it performs when running a slide show and short videos.

The SIG will meet at St Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue, St Clair.

Once again, it promises to be an interesting meeting. You will not be disappointed if you join them for the afternoon.

Cheers,
John Mathews
