The Fridays Seniors and the Communications SIGs will meet again next week. Details of the meetings are below.
Friday 10 August - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
This meeting will be about computer care and maintenance.
How many times have you heard the comment "I meant to back-up my computer but ....."?
With is in mind the group will discuss and choose the top three "must do" maintenance activities to keep their computer and files in safe running order.
There will also be a question and answer session at the start of the meeting.
Friday 10 August - Communications - J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
With cloud storage and applications now being widely accepted by businesses and individuals, John Lucke will take an introductory look at this remarkable phenomenon at this meeting.
T he group will consider and discuss some of the popular free storage providers, applications, security and lots more.
There will be time at the meeting for a general discussion and a question and answer session.
